Vatra Verde, the collaborative project between, ArtMirror, Movecento and the dream team behind the Romanian Pavilion. Vatra Verde or ‘Green Heart’ is an impactful and thought-provoking installation that aims to inspire reflection, collaboration, and a renewed commitment to environmental stewardship, now displayed at London Design Biennale 2023.
A harmony of thoughts, a dance of minds,
In Vatra Verde’s embrace, transformation one finds.
Imagine that heart expanding its reach,
Connecting with Earth, the lessons it’ll teach.
The kinetic installation acts both as a renewable energy generator and as a special trigger.
Craving for awareness, the sculpture asks for one minute of active interaction in order to produce one minute of static consumption.
The electricity created during the interaction is used to charge components of the installation, aiming to employ technology as a bridge for reconnecting with nature.
By engaging with the lever a one minute poem is revealed, as you get immersed into a sensorial journey.
